Bidding is now open for our January Mobile-Only Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines which will be held on Thursday, January 23rd and Friday, January 24th starting promptly at 8:30am CT both days. This exceptional sale will feature over 2,600 lots which are estimated to realize $1.4-2.1 million. Bidders can utilize HDH’s industry leading bidding platform, available via our mobile app or online auction.hdhwine.com.

The January sale features a superb selection of wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, California, Italy, and more, with vintages spanning from 1922 to 2017. Highlights include over 500 lots of California wines including a full case of 1994 Joseph Phelps Vineyards Red Wine, Insignia (est. $1,800-2,800); a single magnum of 2007 Harlan Estate Red Wine (est. $1,500-2,200); 12 bottles of 2012 Marcassin Winery Chardonnay, Marcassin Vineyard (est. $2,600-3,800); and two 7-bottle 2017 Schrader Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Assortments (est. $1,400-2,000).

Those interested in Bordeaux should take note of an imperial of 1982 Château Léoville Las Cases (est. $2,000-3,000); 2 bottles of 1998 Château Pétrus (est. $4,200-6,500); and a 6-liter bottle of the 100-point 2001 Château d'Yquem (est. $2,600-3,800).

HDH saw great demand for Burgundy in 2019. Not to be missed in our January sale are 2 bottles of 1985 Chambertin, Maison Leroy (est. $2,800-4,200); one bottle of 1986 Meursault, Les Perrières, Coche-Dury (est. $2,400-3,500); 4 magnums of 1990 Griotte-Chambertin, Joseph Drouhin (est. $5,000-7,500); and a single bottle of 2006 Bonnes-Mares, Domaine d'Auvenay (Leroy) (est. $2,800-4,200).
