Valued at an estimated $5.8-8.8 million, the sale will feature over 2,990 lots of incredible diversity and provenance, representing every major wine producing region in the world. Bidders can utilize HDH’s industry-leading bidding platform, available via their mobile app or online, to place live and absentee bids.

HDH is honored to offer The Personal Estate of Joseph Phelps (lots 1-501) on Friday, December 18th. A legend in the wine world, Joe Phelps was an active collector for decades, acquiring bottles from his Napa neighbors, friends, and from reputable merchants and auctions. Highlights from his personal cellar include a single bottle of 1865 Château Lafite Rothschild (est. $11,000-17,000); 11 bottles of 1959 Château Latour (est. $30,000-45,000); 4 bottles of 1980 Echézeaux, Henri Jayer (est. $15,000-22,000); 6 bottles of 1974 Heitz Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon, Martha's Vineyard (est. $7,000-10,000); and much more. This group is incredibly unique and should be carefully perused; please bid with confidence.

A Pristine Cellar of Benchmarks (lots 1794-2137) will be offered in Saturday’s session. Brimming with collectibles from top producers like Armand Rousseau, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Leroy, Lafite Rothschild, Latour, Mouton Rothschild, and more, this cellar represents some of the world’s most coveted wines. Don’t miss out on 6 bottles of 1990 Clos de la Roche, Domaine Leroy (est. $11,000-17,000); 5 bottles of 2005 Chambertin, Clos de Bèze, Armand Rousseau (est. $10,000-15,000); 6 bottles of 1982 Château Latour (est. $6,500-9,500); and an imperial of 2000 Château Mouton Rothschild (est. $12,000-18,000).

HDH is pleased to represent The Carano Collection (lots 1504-1574). This attractive group of primarily mature Bordeaux and Burgundy was amassed by Don and Rhonda Carano over the years and stored in their custom-made cellar. Bidders should make note of 11 bottles of 1995 Château Pétrus (est. $17,000-26,000); 1 bottle of 1990 Romanée-Conti, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (est. $13,000-19,000); and a single bottle of 1990 Vosne-Romanée, Cros Parantoux, Henri Jayer (est. $8,500-13,000).

Bidders looking to support a great cause while also bringing home some exceptional wine should note Top Producers from Around the World to Benefit the Frankie Lemmon School (lots 1013-1042). The foundation provides life-changing educational and therapeutic support to children ages 3-6 who have been identified with specials needs. All proceeds for these 30 lots will be donated to support Frankie Lemmon School.
