Bidding is now open for our May Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines which will be held on May 29th & 30th. Valued at an estimated $2.7-4.1 million, the sale will feature over 1790 lots of incredible diversity and provenance, representing every major wine region in the world. Bidders can utilize HDH’s industry-leading bidding platform, available via their mobile app or online.

The May auction is comprised of several distinguished and comprehensive collections and includes a tremendous assortment of wine. The sale is studded with exquisite Bordeaux, rare Burgundy, noteworthy Italian, and more.

Bordeaux enthusiasts will be pleased to find over 80 Châteaux represented. Noteworthy lots include a single magnum of 1948 Château Latour (est. $3,000-4,5000); 4 bottles of 1959 Château Mouton Rothschild (est. $8,000-12,000); and 6 bottles of 2010 Château Pétrus (est. $13,000-19,000).

Those interested in Italian wines should make special note of 3 bottles of 1978 Barolo Riserva Speciale, Collina Rionda, Bruno Giacosa (est. $7,500-11,000); 12 bottles of 1995 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Intistieti, Case Basse (G. Soldera) (est. $5,500-8,500); and a full case of 1997 Amarone della Valpolicella, Romano Dal Forno (est. $3,800-5,500).

Burgundy lovers will be pleased to find a jeroboam of 1999 Clos de la Roche, Domaine Dujac (est. $7,500-11,000); a full case of 2011 Chambertin, Armand Rousseau (est. $13,000-19,000); and 3 bottles of 2014 Romanée-Conti Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (est. $30,000-45,000).
