Bidding is now open for our exciting October Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines to be held on October 24th starting at 7:00am CT. With over 1,690 lots offered, this auction includes a fantastic selection of benchmark wines from around the globe expected to realize $3.6-5.4 million. Bidders can utilize HDH's industry leading bidding platform, available via our mobile app or online at auction.hdhwine.com.

With a host of top-notch consignments, a few are of special importance. HDH is pleased to offer A Pristine Cellar of Benchmarks (lots 340-476). The owner of this group is a long-time friend and has purchased all wines through HDH, including a spectacular 33-lot selection of Domaine Leroy. The focus of the group is celebrated Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne from top producers.

Following this group are Wines Directly from Château Montrose (lots 477-497). A selection of their Grand Vin dating back to 1916 will be offered alongside a unique Bicentenary Case. HDH is pleased to offer case #1 of this limited-edition custom-designed case which includes 2-liter bottles of the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Château Montrose. In addition to the three bottles, this special case includes a cigar and game set. The winning bidder, along with three guests, will be hosted by the Château at their property for an overnight stay, dinner, and a historic vertical tasting of 20 vintages of Montrose spanning over thirteen decades. Bidders should not miss out on this exceptional opportunity.

The ensuing group is a further offering from An Important East Coast Cellar (lots 498-559) which includes 12- and 6-bottle offerings, primarily in original wooden case, of top Bordeaux and highly sought Burgundy.

HDH is honored to bring Classic Wines Spanning Four Decades (lots 621-835) to market. The consignor of this cellar has been collecting wines since the early 1970s, with a focus and passion for great Burgundy. This selection offers several crown jewels including two bottles of 1985 Vosne-Romanée, Cros Parantoux, Henri Jayer (est. $20,000-30,000). Wine enthusiasts should bid with confidence on this exceptional group.

The Hardy P. Graham Sr. Collection (lots 840-1008) offers bidders an additional opportunity for rarities. Hardy built an exceptional collection over nearly five decades, including some of the finest wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy. While living in Washington, D.C., Hardy enjoyed socializing in the wine world, joining Les Amis du Vin, going to wine dinners, and attending a Becky Wasserman Symposium where he became a close friend of Becky and Russell, and ultimately an investor in Le Serbet.

Hart Davis Hart’s October 24th auction is filled with a great balance of gems which have been carefully inspected by their experienced team. Offering well-stored wines of impeccable provenance is their focus. Wine enthusiasts are invited to bid with confidence on these consignments and several others which will be offered in this sale.
